Pressing shadow/shimmer

Hi guys hope we are all keeping well. I am currently pressing some AWD hoodies and various t shirts using MDP hot flex. I have started to notice that there is a prominent area that matches the press area even a shimmer that appears over the seams. I have a Teflon sheet that covers the whole press area. I have tried dropping the pressure but then the vinyl doesn't stick. I am using mediumish as I can close it without to much effort. The press is a HP3805 from BMS. Am I right in thinking the press marks should disappear with washing.

AWD hoodies seem to have this problem and to the keen eye like ours you can still see it after several washes.... not quite so noticeable to customers the only real way round it is to mask the transfer.
