Hi all...

have been stalking and researching the forum for a little while now and have been trying to research as much as I can.
We (my wife and I) have started our own little home business (6 months ago) purely from wanting a vinyl decal for the back of our caravan but found that no one is interested in doing one off small jobs here in Australia.

We found that we absolutely love doing this sort of thing and have covered all but $250 of our setup costs and initial stock for vinyl cutting and heat transfer. We also already have a regular customer for a substantial amount of decals for motor homes each month, So we are really happy.

As such, we have been researching and decided we will also delve into the sublimation market.
Again, here there is no one really doing this sort of thing.

So so we are waiting on delivery of our printer today.
The equipment we have is...

Silhouette Cameo
Galaxy 14"x14" clamshell heat press (already wishing we had gone to the 20")

just received the Galaxy Mug Press Pro
And waiting on the Sawgrass SG800 and inks today.

And finally we are also researching to go wide format vinyl printer cutter so are trying to decide between the Roland BN20 or the SP300i.

The difficult part we are finding is suppliers for the things we want to do like Stubby coolers (koozies?), mouse pads etc. there only really seems to be two main suppliers here compared to the UK and America. As such, we are certainly paying a premium for them.

if things work out, we might end up looking at trying to do bulk orders to get from the UK as you have a much larger range of items at a great price.

Enough from me...

Wish us luck in setting up.

Depends on your market, think of what you want to do before buying, Iv'e had both and for me the BN-20 is a better machine, yes the BN is slow but it works well for me :) I do miss doing the large canvas but I like the space I made by getting rid of the 300... they are about 6ft long (and very heavy) if you have the chance to go and see both and even try them go for it before you buy  Good luck!

Hi Scotty44 from a West Aussie. There are a couple of supplies in Australia that I have tried.
GJS is my main source of product and support. There is also Nova, Picture Perfect Products, Biz Supplies and also AGS.
I have purchased from all and also bought from the UK as the product range in Australia is not very large.
I have also had some convos with people on Alibaba and looking into buying that way.

If you are shifting large amounts of stubbies then you should look at Bangkok:)
