Refillable carts reset
Re: Refillable carts reset
Hi everyone I'm at a bit of a loss with what to do I got refillable carts from nature inks a few months back and iv only just needed to refill them but since I have refilled them the printer is still saying the carts are half empty and the black is completely empty, this is the first time iv refilled them and on the site it states it can be refilled a few times does anyone know how to reset these?

Re: Refillable carts reset
I have the same printer on test. I've not had to refil yey but did have a slight problem initially when I installed the refil carts. Do you still have the starter carts?
Re: Refillable carts reset
Yea I had issue when I started with it but soon sorted that yep still got them I just tried them and it said that start up carts detected replace carts so put the refillable carts back in and ink still displays as half empty. It was printing fine earlier today then the black started to look faded then it printed blank all the other colors print fine tho
Re: Refillable carts reset
Had two WF-711's and both were skipped within a few months. Make sure you print something every day to avoid the normal nozzle blockages with Epson printers. Used re-fillable and had no problems.
Re: Refillable carts reset
Only had mine a few months, I was printing every other day with no problems, was only till yesterday I had issue when it came to refilling the carts it's not registered that they are full, it's highly annoying because by the time I can get new carts the black would more than likely have clogged up which will lead to more problems, I'm now thinking about just getting a ricoh printer!!

Re: Refillable carts reset
I'm running this Epson alongside a Ricoh, same inks. Epson print quality is head and shoulders above the Ricoh, print speed is so much slower, which probably explains this!
Re: Refillable carts reset
I do love the Epson printer it does produce amazing prints even without a profile, Im just a bit baffled with what to do regarding this whole ink business.. Iv messaged natureinks to see if they can give any advice if not then looks like I may need to invest in a new printer (3Rd one this year)
Re: Refillable carts reset
Finally got it sorted and after several nozzle checks and head cleaning oh and a ton of full color pages it's printing perfectly again woop
