Sawgrass 800 Printer - Banding

Hi
Can anyone help please.
I have a NEW Sawgrass 800 Printer using Magic Touch Paper (DyeSub Magic)
I've noticed banding, and the banding is still visible when pressed onto a coaster.
I beginning to think its Magic Touch Paper, what do you guys think?

It's the media type, was set to default. I've changed this to high quality inkjet and it prints better.
