Re: What a difference a mug makes!!
Good post Jay. I must admit we haven't tried your mugs but based on your post then I think we will certainly take a look once you have posted the certificate. Appreciate you coming onto the forum and posting this.

Why not try them now? They are not actually changing the mug, just getting further verification.we will certainly take a look once you have posted the certificate

Re: What a difference a mug makes!!
I bought a box from listawood and the coating seems patchy and there are bits stuck in it so have just bought a box from Xpres to try. Tried BMS but lots had dips, maybe I was unlucky but when you buy a box of 36 I expect to be able to use all of them or at least nearly all of them!. Will try longforte next if I have problems with Xpres. I actually bought some from a competitor and they had orca something stamped in black on the bottom, anyone know where they buy these from as all the ones I've tried so far are blank?
Re: What a difference a mug makes!!
Lianne, please let us know how you get on with Xpres mugs, they are next on my list to try.

Xpres are what we mainly use (sometimes RN from BMS) for top quality mugs sold to retailers. Very good!

Hi Lianne
Look on the outside of the Listawood box - is marked as A grade stock Duraglaze?
If they are Duraglaze - what is the inside surface of those Listawoods mugs llike - nice and glossy just like the outside of the mug or a bit flat, slightly matt or satin surface rather than glossy and shiney?
regards
Arthur

Hi Arthur
There is only a little white label on the box which mentions Duraglaze and it's in German so i guess they buy these in and don't make them. I went for the 11oz mugs but guess I should have bought the 10oz maybe. Their mugs at the show looked really good so was disappointed with what I received.
Thanks
Lianne
