Hi, I'm Christopher and I run Vibrant Colour, a print management firm mostly working with small business, charity and community groups.

Thanks to a couple of new ventures I have been investigating taking my first in-house production items on, namely a Silhouette Cameo to produce vinyl stickers which should arrive next week.

That then led me onto looking into a few other areas of small item production and I think I'll be looking at a mug press and Ricoh in the near future too!

This forum already looks particularly useful and I can't wait to soak up all your expertise and knowledge.

Welcome to the forum Christopher :-)

How will you be printing those stickers for the Cameo?

Most of it's going to be cut only, but the odd bit will just be printed on inkjet/laser copier depending on finish.

If they are outdoor vinyls then this will not last. Great for temporary stuff, but any amount of sunlight will result in considerable fading.

They're not - it's only going to be really basic, temporary stuff as you say that will be done in house, where I need something 'quick and dirty'. I have a few charity clients who do basic sticker-based marketing at events with things like clothes pegs, for which the ability to run a sheet or two off in-house will make life easier.

Cool, seems like you have it all sorted so good luck fella, I am only down the road to you so if you need any help let me know.

Might be worth you checking out label planet as well, literally hundreds of shapes and sizes, they might have a label that fits your needs perfectly.
