What a difference a mug makes!!
Re: What a difference a mug makes!!
Right, I see. You can actually get the mugs from anywhere with RN coating. Manufacturers buy in the coating to put on their own mugs so there can often be very different qualities in what is supplied. In fairness, if a manufacturer anywhere in the world has forked out for the most expensive coating I wouldn't expect them to cut corners on a mug either. Orca only comes from one place as far as I know but the same factory will also supply RN if you want. Duraglaze which is Listawood used to be RN just renamed and they might have been coating in England.
All of this makes life confusing as there will always be different levels and styles even on what you might think is the same mug. Don't think they ever set out to make sublimation straight forward.

Re: What a difference a mug makes!!
Just received and printed 144 10oz short handle mugs from Signzworld. Overall for the price, I am happy enough. The quality is not fantastic but they will do for this run. I have noticed that there are a few tiny marks, scuffs and bubble holes on a fair amount of the mugs. I probably wouldn't want to continue using them long term tbh.
So i think next up, I might take on Xpres 10oz, with the 10% discount I should be able to get a pretty decent deal. Justin, could you supply the link for the correct mug that you use and recommend on several threads please?

Signzworld 10oz Orca mugs.
Forgot to add that sone of the handles are not aligned flush and are squint by a few degrees, it's noticeable when you place the mug flat when prepping the wrap.

My next lot are going to be Xpres, 80p per mug, I don't mind paying this as I charge 10 quid a mug.

Re: What a difference a mug makes!!
Anyone know what Coralgraph mugs are like?
Noticed that a pallet is about 55p which is a very good price. I have had other stuff from them which has printed really well. I will probably get a box to try, but thought I would ask here first.

can only comment on the 72 we got last time...12 were to pitted to use...and no reply from henry made up look elsewhere for mugs
we got mugs after that from subliblanks , 5 were pitted, got store credit for the 5 that were no use....CS way it should be imho
we then bought there orca mugs just lately, again from subliblanks ....man are they white-er.....smooth, and so far no pitted ones..print great as well.....tad more expensive, but i would say they on par with the BMS top end priced mugs
yet to try xpres ones....but will wait till i hear the reports from others on here before i do what i usually do....jump in
