Hi,
I use a film and 3d heat press system from IDT in London, England. The first printer I bought from them with their system was a wp-4015.
That one died last week and they sent me a 4095. I have been trying to talk to them for over a week to get a powerdriver from them or sawgrass but they don't seem to understand that the powerdriver for the 4015 does not work with the 4095.
I have tried contacting sawgrass support several times with no response to emails at all.
I have searched all over the internet for the powerdriver for a 4095 with no luck.
The powerdriver 4015 will not recognise the 4095 and give you a chance to choose it from the drop down menu.
I have tried RENAMING the printer in windows to a 4015 to see if that would fool it with no luck.
IDT has done nothing but send me the epson driver which I have explained to them multiple times is not the issue. it is the POWERDRIVER for the 4095 that is necessary to run the machine with correct colors.
Can someone post the source for that file? Or give me an email address with sawgrass that actually will provide support? I have contacted them multiple times through their sawgrass website and their facebook forum with absolutely no help.
This printer is tied with $20kUSD machinery (3d press) that I use with it and it is absolutely useless without it.
I have several ricoh printers I use with 2d sublimation but all the ones I have (4) put *pizza marks* on the prints and IDT said it is because they modify the printers before selling them to remove the pizza wheels from it. I tried contacting Sawgrass last year to get instructions from them to remove the pizza wheels from their new sg400 printer AND THEY REFUSED TO TELL ME HOW TO DO IT. They claimed the sg400 would work with film but after I explained to them that it left pizza wheel marks on the film and they talked to their supervisor THEN they said it would NOT work with film and refused to help me further.
The company I buy my sg400s from said they were being sold to THEM by sawgrass to work with film but sawgrass is lying.
10 days without a printer to make my phone cases and all because no one seems to even be able to understand that the 4095 can not be registered on the sawgrass site let alone do they offer the powerdriver to run it.
If someone can give me any leads to this software I would really appreciate it as neither IDT or Sawgrass are even bothering to answer emails.
Thank you,
Melinda
Can anyone share their powerdriver that works with the epson WP-4095
Re: Can anyone share their powerdriver that works with the epson WP-4095
Can't help but can fully understand your frustration. I looked at IDT and was very impressed with what they had to offer.
Re: Can anyone share their powerdriver that works with the epson WP-4095
Is it an ICC for the 4095 from Sawgrass, as opposed to Powerdriver?
Re: Can anyone share their powerdriver that works with the epson WP-4095
As far as I understand it, the Epson 4015 has been discontinued by Epson. Sawgrass provided support for the 4015 for sublimation printing. Given the Ricoh SG400 is now the A4 supported printer I don't believe there is support for new Epson A4 printers from Sawgrass so you won't be able to get PowerDriver for this machine.mel-;111512 wrote:Hi,

Your option now would be a customised ICC profile for this new Epson printer but it won't have any support from Sawgrass.
