Following my waste ink tank problem (new tank purchased from Printerland as suggested by Justin) I printed just five sheets before a potentially bigger problem arrived. Error message SC28212 came up. Anyone who has gone through the remedial procedure with BMS and Sawgrass will know cracking this is not a 5 minute trick, (waiting for the BMS email then replying with the necessary details and waiting for the replacement carts to be received etc). The disruption caused particularly at this time of year to a one man operation like me by an inoperative printer is considerable and on this occasion was exacerbated by my previous (self induced) downtime with the waste tank issue just as sales were going through the roof. However, once I explained my dilemma to Shirley at BMS and she managed to coax Scott out from their warehouse, i'm very happy to say that commonsense prevailed. My replacement ink carts arrived the next day and with details emailed from Scott I was able to re-instate my printing with minimum delay. I'd just like send a big shout out to Shirley and Scott for understanding the needs of the small manufacturer in a tight spot.

Shirly at BMS ?????? shirly you cant be serious its hilary isnt it or jo or have they a new member of staff ?

During one of our phone conversations we exchanged a bit of light banter when I suggested that she'd answer to a different name next time I called. Well spotted

Hi Matilda, I realise this is an old thread and I hope you're still around. I just wanted to ask how your error was resolved as I just got the same error message and I'm wandering what the error means (especially as I've had this printer for a while?
