Just a thought as it seems you cant do top to bottom on a std press easilly has anyone tried an oven wrap but pressed in a std mug press.

I've done top to bottom in a standard press with straight mugs,if the mugs are not straight just use a silicone wrap you don't the oven ones.

Yes, as Reg says an additional silicone wrap will aid with not straight mugs but will do nothing if you are unable to press top to button in your mug press anyway. Either look for small mugs if you need to do top to bottom (8oz bone china work well) or invest in a better press. Our DK3 press is very accommodating with mugs and virtually does all the way to handle as well. Or in the oven.
