Hi

Not sure what's going on here. As far as I know I have changed nothing, but when I try to print my artwork for my members cards the text is blurry! It's as if it's doubled lined.

I've recreated my image in Photoshop cc. Image is 300dpi, all as it has been, but not its printing strange?
If I print a test page from the printer with setting etc on it, it prints fine.
Any ideas?

It almost looks as if you have the image twice on the original, could you have a ghost copy on there ?

Ghost copy? Not that I know off. I even created a fresh document just incase something was wrong but it prints the same?!? If the printers own test print is fine I guess it's a print setting?

Couple of suggestions to narrow down further

Does anything else printed from Photoshop ghost like this?
Export your Photoshop file as JPG, and print using another application (windows photo viewer would work, wouldnt worry about colour management for now), does this ghost?

Can you send file to someone to print (i can print if happy to wait til this evening)

I'm going to have another look tomorrow... Even might delete PS and reinstall it. The red GTI is an image and looks ok. But text is playing up. It's got to be software issue as the printers test is fine

So converted the psd image to a jpg and printed via Epsom app on the Mac and it was spot on. So loaded the jpg in Photoshop and tried printing but still blurry.

I've reset PS default settings (pressing cmd opt and shift once clicked on ps icon) and uninstalled my printer and reinstalled it. Still not doing it.

I'm only left with deleting PS and reinstalling it I think?!?

I know it's obvious but have you tried a print head alignment?

Yes... But it prints the image ok in other app... So I'm guessing it's PS or it would be mucked up else where... However I did print a doc in pages (Mac version of word) and that text was poor too

Deleted PS and printer and reinstalled. Still have the issue. Think I'm going to flush the print head and see if that sorts it.
