Re: Best heat press for thicker items

Post by kermit »

I currently have an Adkins beta maxi heat press which is great but I'm doing more & more thicker Acrylic/wood items & using a cheaper A4 size press to give me the required depth. I would like to offer bigger sizes of the aforementioned products & thinking about selling the Adkins & getting a Pressmech. Would the Pressmech be the best choice?

Thanks

I was in the same situation and have an Adkins also. Bought a Pressmech and the Adkins hasn't been switched on since.

I was thinking about keeping the Adkins but if I sell it with the additional platen then I can add some cash & get a new Pressmech.

For Pressmech is it best to go direct?

cheers

Same as Justin- we had some Adkins, Insta, and Jarin presses, and then we bought a PressMech. The old presses haven't been used since, and we now have 4 PressMechs (2 in use most of the time, the other two reserves/spares to cover breakdowns and busy periods)
