Indeed it does, it was a rhetorical question ;-) I just don't see the point in a 24" 8 colour printer. Why on earth haven't they built a 44" printer?? OK if it was a fair price but this is just silly.

id imagine neither Epson or Mutoh would give them a competitor printer ;)

We were supposed to be getting one of these printers for evaluation and review but they've done a complete 180 U-turn and changed their mind.

I don't know of anybody using one, and although I have a use for it, I shall leave alone until I know what they are like. Having not had the smoothest of journeys with wide format I don't fancy more hassle. Good job my cheap 1500w and the ricoh 3110 just keep on printing.

Quick update, I'm in the process of ordering a VJ628 with Pro Photo XF 8 colour inkset, will update when I received it.

Taken a different route, VJ628 for sublimation, HP Z2100 for canvas work.
