Re: Help with mug size please

Post by Spitzy »

When I bought my press 2nd hand it came with about 30 plain white mugs, I have been using these to practice on, they barrel in the middle and the paper creases occasionally top and bottom, wraparound images are troublesome but single back and front are manageable. What I can't figure out is what size they are, I have looked up the dimensions of 10 and 11oz mugs and these have different dimensions. They are 10cm tall and 26cm round.
Can I have some recommendations please for good quality straight sided mug suppliers for when I order in some more mugs, I've seen BMS mugs mentioned several times .....
Thanks

Yeah, save yourself some pennies and go and collect locally if you can (as long as mugs are decent). We have BMS on our door step so go and collect our european mugs frequently from them whilst having a chin wag with the knowledge base guru Scotty there.

Great discounts with Listawood and Xpres if you join our premium membership scheme :-)

Personally I use Xpres Mugs and can't fault them.

i bought mugs from BMS 11oz a few were completely mishapen and all of them have a bevel at the base which makes top to bottom coverage impossible. Xpres mugs are pretty good.
