Good find. Hadn't noticed this video yet. Well, it would be good to hear from the experienced printer-heads (pun intended!) on the printer especially on:
* 8 colour or double CYMK (which is best)
* It says it uses top end Epson print head - is this true do you think and is that a good thing?
* Onsite Support (but perhaps not in the UK?)

Aside from the printer then the DK32 press looks INCREDIBLE!!! Is this for sale in the UK and anyone got one?

The DK32 is a beast isn't it. Onsite support is provided as far as I know. I say this because my Epson 7890 had support whilst it was under warranty and support at a scary cost when it died....just out of warranty!
This was supplied by xpres.
So I assume they would do the same with the VJ628.

Personally having had my fingers burned already I am in no rush to jump back into that pond!

Am I right in that most wide format printers have just a standard 12 months warranty like a kettle or toaster? Surely as a substantial investment then the machine should at least come with a 5 year warranty?

In terms of commercial printers these are the equivalent of a Pound store purchase. We are effectively the bottom feeders. Just having a coffee and reading about the MTEX Blue. Before you open the link, sit down!

PS: What is Sawgrass thinking hiking prices so high. Surely everyone is just going to go down the Epson route now. If not already.
