Can't really find a answer but do u think any jig will work in the pictaflex. Marvelpress sell them for 95+vat compared to 25 quid on the bay.

No not yet mate. Considering it but 95 for a jig is expensive.
Can't see why any standard jig would not work though.

I have the Chinese one and to be honest its not much use for Phone cases unless you have the later model that uses film. Also, I think the secondhand price you are paying is a tad high. I paid £300 for mine and that came with 1500 phone cases (most of which I threw away!!!)

If you are hell bent on phone cases and want a good reliable machine that a) has the ability to do more and b) will not break your bank then go for the Big Red One as we mostly refer to it...

Not sure if its still available new, but I have two of these and phone cases from them are pretty good once you have mastered it.

Cheers for the info. I was shying away from the sunfly one and thinking of the pictaflex one.
But also I have pondered the big red on.
Can get it from subdyesupplies for 400 with 2 year warranty. At least with the big vac machine I'm not just tied to phone cases.

If you use jig with a narrow base in film machine, film will stretch too much on edges, then melt and finally burst.

I have a sublideck and I am not able to use the cheaper ebay jigs in the sublideck machine. The bottom of the jigs are slightly different, and the sublideck jigs have small holes in them for the vaccum system, or so I have been told that's why the holes are there.
