To add, the Chinese factories are renowned for copying, so there could be a factory making a good quality heat press, and a couple of weeks later another factory down the road comes out with a press looking exactly the same but using cheaper parts. It could even be in the same factory, some factories are shared between different companies.

It wasn't long after Adkins moved their production to China that Chinese copies of their presses started showing up on Alibaba, and then with UK dealers.
