Very new to this. Only started in January. Everything's been going fine until today when the grey started printing brown. I've looked at the other posts with similar problems, done a nozzle check and flush, tried a different art package .. nothings made a difference.. i dont want to sound like an idiot but i dont understand half of whats being said on here...slowly losing the will to live.
I'm using a richo sg2100n and truepix paper.

Re: Grey is printing brown on the paper
Ricoh 2100 was never proved as an acceptable printer for sublimation, quite the opposite in fact. Is your nozzle check good?
Only real option in this range is the 3110. What inks are you using and do you have a custom profile?

Thanks for the reply Justin, I'm really only just starting out and everything has been fine. The ink came with the printer but don't worry i will be changing that as soon as i can just thought it was ok to mess up with (which I've done a lot of). I've managed to fix the problem now thanks to youtube, it's easy when you know how
Unfortunately the Richo is what in stuck with for now, an upgrade will have to wait a while, i've found that it snatches the paper through quite roughly and sometimes pauses creating lines.. i definitely don't like that at all. It's all a huge learning curve for me at the minute including the techy talk. xx
