Macbook, photoshop and ricoh problems!
Re: Macbook, photoshop and ricoh problems!
I'm really hoping someone one here can help me out with my problem. Totally new to sublimation. My ricoh 3110n arrived yesterday and I've pretty much spent 12 plus hrs trying to set it up
I use photoshop and illustrator. I've downloaded the drivers, read the booklet and tried to install my icc profile...and the printer will only print grayscale and poor quality. When I try to change my printing settings I always get the message 'remember to disable the printers colour management in print settings' but I don't seem to have that option. In the printer profile option I can only choose from generic gray gamma, gray profile and sGray. I'm at a total loss. All my googling hasn't got me anywhere either. I'm hoping I've just missed something really simple and one of you wonder wizards will be able to sort my problem out. Fingers crossed. Thanks
Re: Macbook, photoshop and ricoh problems!
Hi, have you been to the SawGrass website and downloaded the Photoshop icc profile for your printer. As being on the Mac you cannot use the SawGrass Power Driver but they do have Mac Profiles and instruction for how to set up Photoshop for printing.
On on the note that you cannot use the PowerDriver on the Mac. I use Parallels on my Mac as I use CoralDraw and I can also use Windows Version of Photoshop. That allow me to use the PowerDriver for both these programs.
