Hi,
I'm having troubles printing using a Lovecut heat press on a MDF Luggage Tag. The first time wasn't so successful because we had forgotten to peel off the protective film. The second without it on it printed beautifully as the colours were sharp and there were no blemishes.
However, we did notice when we tilted the tag up towards the lighting that there lots of little cracks - almost as if the MDF top layer had been shattered.
Could there be a reason for this? Pressure? Material quality?
Thanks ever so much for the help.

Could be pressure, temp to high or just poor quality coating
Try another one with less pressure then another one lowing the temp a little and go from there

Is this effect on the surface before you print?CometPrint;108429 wrote:Hi,

I don't think so. The MDF surface was completely undamaged. It just shows tiny cracks that are visible when light is shined at an angle.bms;108440 wrote:Is this effect on the surface before you print?
