Is anyone printing on faux leather? What are the results like? What sort of times and temps are you using? Is there any types it won't work with.
is was going to buy some and do some tests but don't want to waste any money if it doesn't really work that well.
Thanks

Re: Printing on faux leather.
I've printed the Marvelpress faux products and the print was superb. Had a cover on a tablet for a few years and it still looks great. Honestly can't remember what time and temps I used as it's a while back, maybe check with the suppliers, it wasn't too tricky to print

Ok thanks for the reply. Any thoughts on the difference between the vinyl and PVC leather?

Re: Printing on faux leather.
If you're doing roll to roll, then unless you're rotary press is the same as who you get the advice off will be meaningless - ours have speed settings of 1-10 with most of the play being between 2 and 5 (with 3 3/4 being 60 seconds from first edge in to out). Before buying a roll, ask the supplier for test swatches - any decent supplier will supply them cheap or free. To save costs, forget about specific sublimation suppliers, and go direct to textiles wholesalers, importers etc
