Driving me mad! All help excepted...

I have a Adkins mega mug heat press, I am runnng PS CS3 and have a Richo 3110 sd printer... I am not getting good results on my mugs the colors are very washed out? It all looks good the print to the paper (Jetstream Digital) Ink (Sublijet Sawgrass) but the transer to mug is not anywere where i want it! I am also gettig the lines from the heat element on the mug? I sarted at 180/180 and have dropped it to 170/170 also have dropped the pressure on the press....any ideas out there please?

180 for 180 should be fine. Are you pre-heating with a blank mug in? Is this a new press or second hand? Did you have pressure very high?

Are you using Powerdriver and have you followed the full setup instructions on the SG site for both this and PS?

I do pre heat with bank mug it is second hand but with a new element. I have reduced the pressure. But i will now double check my set up from the site...

If it's a new blanket then the only real reason I can see for the element lines would be too much pressure. It needs to be tight but not overly tight, once you get it spot on you'll be fine. I'm guessing this is an Adkins Studio, latest model?

I am dowloading the power drive from SG and it is asking for a color correction? Where do i find this please? I have 2 options... PowerdriverV4. or WinProfile.

Powerdriver is just a management console for profiles. Best use this if on PC. if you're Mac then you need the profiles. Have you registered printer with SG yet?+

This is all new to me...I bought the printer second hand but it is ony 2 onths old...I bought a PC running Win 7 and PS CS3 as i did not think Mac was the way to go.
