myquote was for 2 colour screen printing.......but i was obviously miles out. Well tbh i wasnt confident but im glad i prepared the quote as ive learned more about this crazy business lol

Its cut throat and its hard...that is in no doubt. To be fair im not really at the stage or in the business position to be quoting for 5000 mugs at this present time....im a very new business and a virtual novice in this industry. Its been a very good positive experience that ive learned from. Im disappointed yes, of course but also very realistic and down to earth about it.

The good thing about this is that you gained experience on how to approach a large order and next time a large order comes up you'll be on the ball, you did the right thing and there is no point going too low just to get a order, The fact that they asked you shows they think that your set up is professional. I would take that as a complement and wear it like a feather in your cap. Good luck for next time and I'm sure you'll bag it.

Well done on getting that order! If I were you I would definitely look at outsourcing them, I have had large orders in before and I usually get about a quarter of a way through before I regret opting to do them myself!
