Decided last year to relocate, 13 years with a shop was enough. There was no commute to work, but it seems to mean you are never off duty. Have a solid regular customer base to keep me going.

We said goodbye to the the south coast mid November and moved house & business to the Fens. What a change☺ Sooo peaceful, we get less cars pass us in a day than we used to get every few minutes.

A visit to Listawood on the to do list!

Now just got to hope the machines all work when we put inks back in this week. Only done embroidery since the move, more work needed to workshop than we realised (isn't that always the case) so hope our prep of the dtg's etc was up to standard.

Quite a move then! Your avatar says Cambridgeshire though which isn't South Coast or Fens? Sounds like building that regular customer base was key to enabling the flexibility of location.

I changed location from Dorset yesterday, and added the picture of my new assistant.

It was quite a move - we did it ourselves. Lost count of round trips, one was almost all equipment & stock. Amazing how much accumulates over the years.

We are north east Cambridgeshire, definitely Fenland.

New wiring & lighting being installed Friday, so hopefully will be able to get more organised next week.

Yes of course Jools, I was thinking more Norfolk at the mention of Fens but of course they extend into Cambridgeshire borders. Your assistant seems to have found a nice comfy home, reminds me of a few Christmas times back when all our toddler wanted to do was play in the cardboard box instead of with the toy that came in it. Hope the electrical refit goes well and that all the equipment fires up okay.
