Re: Setting Epson L130 at sublimation printing

Post by FJakub »

Hello,
I would advise anyone how to best set up the Epson L130 Sublimation? The printer I sublimation ink.
Everything works, use it to print on mugs.
Unfortunately, I have a problem to debug the printer to print the color as your computer.

Thank you very much for your response and your advice

Firstly welcome to the forum. You're English doesn't appear the best so forgive me but I'm assuming the problem you have is with matching the colour on screen to the print? This could well be down to a profile issue. Do you have a profile?

It sounds from your initial post that you have been printing mugs somewhat successfully so I'mm assuming your printer, inks, mugs and paper are all ok. Taking all of that into account you seem to indicate that there is an issue with the colours matching your computer display is this correct? If so, then this is probably down to the fact that you are not using a specific icc profile. This profile is needed to tell the printer what colours to print to match your display, as closely as possible. If you've used a reputable supplier for your inks etc. then they should be able to supply a profile for you. If not, then you need to contact someone who can create a profile for you. At the bottom of this screen you will see a rotating banner for 'Paul' who can create profiles but please bear in mind to do this you need to print and send charts to him in the UK.
