T shirt printing best feasible solutions..

Hi all..I am looking to buy a solvent printer like BY 20 targeting tshirts mainly. I know there are many ways to do t shirts but durability is is not so good on many cases like Screen printing. ..I don't like Dgt and screen printing. .so do you guys think Using a printer like BN20 I can do a good job.are these solvent printed transfers durable and can they be used as a professional t shirt printing method. ..???.....Please share your experiences and advices. .

A dilemma shared by many. But you don't like DTG or Screen Printing!?!?! lol. BN20 will do a good but oh so slow job of making transfers but is this the finish you want for your shirts? All depends on your designs I guess. I used to work with a large solvent printer and got some great transfers onto Dorotape material. Printing on their very think material, almost like cling film was great onto white garments.

I guess to advise further we'd need to see your designs, know how many you're looking at producing and what your budget is?

I tend to work with a mixture, sublimation very occasionally, vinyl more often. I also now screen print in house and supply DTG/Embroidery but contract this out. often it's better to contract out and not have the huge set-up costs/learning curves.

I have a Versacam but am considering a DTG for tee shirts as the finish of a DTG is unrivaled in my opinion

Really surprised that you prefer transfers over DTG or Screen Print TBH

BN-20 is MUCH faster compared to DTG or screen print. think about making screens and preparing jobs. it takes time. same with DTG.
pre treating, pre pressing etc takes time too. so slow printing is not that slow actually
but like Socialgiraffe said, I am surprised too. the feel of screen print is excellent and most professional out of all printing method i know (except sublimation but this is different )
DTG is the worst printing method (just after inkjet printing) in MY opinion. takes time, loads of room, huge investment and durability of prints is not that great. Its really cool for novelty one of prints. but i would not print my designs and put them in the shop if printed on dtg.
print and cut machines are great for chest logos ar not to big designs as here is quite a lot feel in it. but very durable.
I would say print and cut machine (bn-20 as i own one) makes loads of money as thee is loads of other stuff that can be printed on this machine too.

Thanks you so much for your replies ..I like Screen and DGT prints (My English lol) but dont want to do it my self as Paul says its very difficult ,expensive and hard work .I wanted to find out these Solvent transfers are good (I have experienced the other transfers and they are not that professional ) and hear so many good stuff about BN20 and other Solvent printers ...

Justin my designs are multi colour( I have the vinyl option for others ) so as you guys said Screen ,DGT and Embroidery I cannot do at the moment (I know they are the best ).But I can go for a Solvent printer as it seems not that hard work and has many other opportunities..It will be personalised and small order based ..

I am planing to go the print show coming up on Feb and decide to buy a Solvent printer or not .....

Doing full colour is one of the bn20 great features, there are some very thin digital print vinyl transfers designed for a much lighter feel. The space they occupy is minimal compared to others which can be a clincher if space is tight and your not limited to garments as there's all sorts you can produce from stickers to canvas prints, I've only scratched the surface with mine but think them a versatile bit of kit. As part of a working process they won't hold you up given there will be plenty else to do and you schedule printing to fit around you working day or can do your printing overnight when you comfortable with the equipment. The shows are good to see them in action and for deals and a new one includes warranty and service in the price
