I know they're probably staring me in the face on the suppliers sites, but I'm not seeing them. :(

Can someone point me in the right direction please?

Is that BTC Activewear Dave?

I was going to open an account with them but forgot, are their prices good?

editing my post - is the only possible account a 'credit' account?

I was hoping to pay for goods as I get them ................ never liked getting stuff on 'tick'.

Yes I did post a link the other day :D

I have not come accross a supplier yet who insists on a credit account. We run our business on a pay now basis.

The other thing that puts people off dealing with some of the major suppliers in the garment industry is the fact they show prices at carton rate. BTC is one of these but you don't need to buy in cartons, you can buy in singles. No idea why they keep quoting carton rates in their brochures.

The cap price discussed is 89p :)

Hi Dave,

how did you create an account if you don't mind me asking?

I clicked on the 'open an account' link and it was a PDF form to fill in to apply for a credit account.

a. I don't want a credit account
b. I can't list present suppliers as I am just starting off.

I sent them an e-mail to explain this so hopefully they will respond.

To be honest I can't remember. I think I called them and asked for a catalogue. It's always an issue when you're starting up to list other trade suppliers used but if you have used other pay as you go suppliers it shouldn't be a problem.

I think it also helps to 'clarify' your business if you have a website.

For anybody in the North of England & Scotland the area is managed from the Blackburn office tel 01254 245448. I'm sure they will put you in touch with another office if need be. If anybody is still struggling send me your details and I'll speak to my account manager.
