Hi we-print. Are you? I creatde a thread the other day asking if anyone was using dino (which no one has responded to). Apparently dino coating is basically orca coating but under a different name. Could you perhaps give your opinion on the quality of the mugs in terms of packaging (ever any breakages) as well as the quality of print (especially if you have also tried RN coating). The dino mugs certainly look like a possible option for us when it comes to an RN alternative but would like to hear a little more first. Thank you. Olly

I've got a box of coralgraphs Ultra White Reinforced mugs that I'm trying out and they definitely seem to be better quality compared to their cheaper one's. The bottom of them has a nicer feel to them no roughness at all, as for the white if you place them next to other companies mugs or there own cheaper ones then it makes the others look like they have a grey tint to them but I would also say that the UWR ones have a very slight yellow tint. I do think design gain a bit of extra pop when printed on UWR, as for if the coating is any good only time will tell.

Thanks For all the advice everyone. I'll give some of them a try. I was going to use Xpress but I need 11oz mugs and they don't seem to do them. I had trouble With the coralgraph mugs. the finish on the inside of the handle was awful. it felt really rough.

Hi olly. I don't do a lot of mugs and these are the only ones I've used. Had a couple of breakages a while back but the last lot were 100%

I am happy with the quality and packaging of my first box of European BMS mugs however as others have mentioned, the stinger is the delivery charge (which many other suppliers seem to be providing free of charge). They are also the most expensive mug in their category from what I can see. Is there is an alternative 11oz mug of the same standard out there with less costs. I definately wouldn't want to drop the standard so if I am to be told there is no better, cheaper alternative then I would continue using them. Cheers:)

European BMS mugs are more 10oz not 11oz, 11oz are 95mm tall and have a bigger/thicker/unsquashed handles. 10oz mugs tend to be advertised as 90mm or 92mm tall, xpres 10oz are much the same as BMS European.

BMS 11oz are heavier than anyone else's 11oz so if you do try those be aware that 2 together may take you over 1kg for 1st class and 4 together may take you over 2kg for 2nd depending on your packaging and if you include coasters. Also their stock of 11oz is lower than their European mugs and tend to go out of stock for months at a time so if you try them and like them be prepared to buy plenty at a time.
