Re: Vinyl Printer
Hi,
Can anyone give any advice on a printer that can print sign vinyl and garment vinyl.
I have a Graphtec CE6000-40 and would like to cut the prints on this.
Is this viable or will I have to buy a printer/cutter machine. I have researched these and the BN-20 looks ideal but a bit out of my price range. Most of the work I do is A4 size with the occasional A3. Before investing in a print/cutter I thought I would find out if I could utilise my cutter with a print only machine.
Any advice greatly appreciated.
Andy

Re: Vinyl Printer
you can CL media from Magic touch in A3 sheets and put it through your laser printer before cutting, but it would be expensive compared with wide format media.

Re: Vinyl Printer
Depending on your work load Andy, I would go for the print/cut machine.... yes the BN20's are holding there price or if you have the space something like the SP300 can be picked up cheaper than the BN,
I needed a print/cut so tried the laser, ink jet vinyls from all over the place but none worked for what I needed so ended up getting a VP300 (4 print heads unlike the BN with 1, and SP with 2 heads)
You wont regret a print/cut as it opens up a lot more options

Hi I'm also interested in a print/cut machine, Right now I have the Liyu sc631 but its utter garbage and had nothing but problems. I'd only really need a 24" but looking for a good one thats not too pricey if thats even possible lol. Sorry For gatecrashing your post Andy
