Mugs????

I have had mugs from a few different suppliers with mixed results.
I am looking for a supplier which I can be confident In receiving the best quality every time.
Some of the problems I've had are not sraight so missing some pic, badly finished handles (rough feeling)and just bad finishes it looks like there are scratches on the mug, feels like there's a dint in these places. Usually round the top of the mug. Where should I shop please?????

As a Premium Member I'd suggest Xpres, mugs are excellent right now and you'll get them at their lowest price break regardless of quantity. I'm using loads right now andall are faultless.

I quite like the Xpres mugs too, and their price is good with the discount. Also, never had any major issues with BMS European mugs.

I always use Coralgraph, never had any problems with the mugs that they supply.

BMS European mugs are the best we have ever used. Also they are only supplier to provide 12 months warranty which tells you something.

I use Coralgraph mugs, found a occasional chip in the base, 4 or 5 broken but I have had hundreds of mugs of them and to me that seems more than reasonable.

Perhaps "best quality" can mean both physical (chips, cracks) but also quality of print and durability. Obviously we all have our favourites in terms of mugs we use. I think "best quality" can therefore be determined by the market you are selling into. For instance we only ever supply BMS RN coated European mugs to gift shops as finish is top class and never had a single failure as well as each one individually wrapped in bubble wrap so never had one cracked or chipped on arrival. But for markets which are more price sensitive such as online market places or promotional mugs that companies hand out free then you may want to buy cheaper mugs and put up with the odd bad mug or finish. We recently were given a box of mugs free that come individually packaged in gift boxes. Not sure of original supplier but the result was one bad finish in every three. Ok for cheap promotional mugs but not for high end gift retailers. Pick your market, find a mug and stick to it.

Maybe I should have added that I have found their mugs to be off a consistent good finish and may not be wrapped up in bubble wrap and Coralgraph are happy to refund for breakages and spoilt mugs all you have to do is ask. They have a good print and durability and are suitable for the high end of market. I did find your thread a tad condescending that if you have chipped,cracked or broken mugs delivered by a supplier that they was of poor quality and not good enough for the high end gift retailers. I'm sure thats not how you meant it but it came across like that. The point I was trying to make that I use them and yes I had some cracks and chips but considering the amount that I get through it was a fair assessment. Not saying that they are better than BMS as I try to when giving my opinion is to unbiased about suppliers so members can make their minds up.
