School fete

I have 2 friends on different school pta's and there doing school fetes and asked if i want stall there so far ive only done about 15-20 things so not sure to do or not yet but wondering how to transport printer with cis (only little a4 thing)

Printer and cis need to stay level so put both on piece of wood and tape cis in place.

personally I would advise you to say to them "thanks for the invite, not ready for this year but would be interested in doing it next year".

You really need to be in full control of your kit and get a bit of experience banked - especially of working under pressure. Nothing like a queue of people - or even just one person waiting to make you make a school boy error or for equipment to fail.

use it to show off you skills and take orders, for a deposit, using a proper receipt book, then make them at home, i completely agree with Arthur above - DO not try to do infront of people for your first time out, just concentrate on taking the orders, and showing off, rather than getting flustered, and risking people being a little too nosey and damage being done

don't do live printing, you will get flustered, and hot kit on flimsy pop up tables = danger, and burnt kids parents don't won't buy much from you !

I used this at my daughters summer fair and printed on site. The main seller was phone cases to the kids and also loads of coasters again to the kids. Most of the parents just looked and took leaflets but the kids loved watching the process. I have a bluetooth usb connected to my laptop and all they had to do was bluetooth the image to the laptop, I resized it to fit the case, printed and pressed.

Done 1 of the fetes took pc t-shirt press and printer done what justin said about taping printer to wood.
Had few hiccups pc wouldn't boot up disconnected all hard drives and reconnected them and worked.

Sold about 10 soft toys and 2 keyrings found out after it wasnt a public event only open to pupils and family
