Hi Rav,
you need to take a structured approach to problems like this. Begin with making sure there is power to the wall socket. Do you have something else you can plug in and switch on?
Once you can be certain there is power the next stage will be the fuse in the plug for your ST3042. Do you have a test meter by any chance? If not, the best way is to replace the fuse with one from another appliance you know to be working. The mains lead is probably a 'kettle' type which plugs into your heat press so perhaps you have a similar lead in another electrical item. Just be aware that the fuse will almost certainly be 13 Amp so if you test your press with a lower rating fuse it will probably blow.
If it is not the plug fuse then there might be a fuse on the press itself - sometimes it is part of the socket into which the mains plug fits. I am not familiar with your press specifically, but have spent decades of my life fixing photographic processing equipment which is similar.
Let me know how you get on

Rav there are several post on this subject on this forum. I don't have one of these myself but from reading up about them on here the wires seem to come loose inside it or get pinched when the lid is closed.
Many thanks

A quick point on safety; It might well be something inside but with anything electrical it is ill advised to open it up and go poking around unless you know exactly what you are doing and how to do it safely.

Hi Stu thank you so much for taking time to help me out ...Ive done all you said but there is no fuse ..I had a little look around to see if there is any fuse inside but no luck ..And I had a little search on net but no one talk about a fuse ..Many videos are to show how to replace the main board ( about £50 -70 ) ..It was working fine and our power went off for 5 mins and come back and machine is dead ..I thought the same thing could be easy fix ( Fuse ) ...But to check if there is a fuse inside I have to strip it down and seems a bit of hard work and also as I wasn't so sure there is a one I thought to get some help from the forum ......Ill try to contact the Chinese supplier I bought this from ( 3years ago and machine worked well till today ) as I can see they are selling boards too...Ill update ..Thanks again

Re: ST 3042 No power ...Any idea please help
Hi Rav, there won't be a fuse inside the machine - well, extremely unlikely.
If you had a power out with your supply and the machine died on restart then it is highly likely it blew the mains fuse in the plugtop because of the surge in power as it pulled power for the elements, vacuum pump etc all at the same time.
Second to a fuse I would be looking at the next weakest link - what ever handles the power switching. If the unit had not been run for a while there is also the possibility of the heating elements (which are filled with a type of sand) becoming damp. If you've ever had an electric kettle fail you might have seen a small hole appear in the element (okay, so I am old and remember when you could still see the heating elements).
Unless it is the fuse in the plug I would recommend you do not attempt to dismantle this yourself because of the potential risk to life.
Maybe double check the fuse that will certainly be in the wall plug???
Good luck

Hi, I am having the same issue. No power to front panel when the unit is turned on. Did you ever find out what the problem was? Thanks for your response.
