Hi, Im getting fed up with people bashing my car when its parked so Im thinking about installing a Dash Cam. But it must be able to record when engine is off and its parked.

Anybody with any experience or advice? Which model etc?

Made use of a dashcam a couple of weeks ago when I was nearly hit head on by a car. Luckily the truck that the car was overtaking had a dash cam and we got the car driver prosecuted as a result. I'm having one fitted to my truck shortly.

I know these particular ones go on and off with the ignition. I'm sure you could get one that stayed on all the while but I've not seen this.

For interest this is the video. Uploaded quality isn't too good, the original HD is excellent. I'm in the oncoming truck, 18 tonne fully loaded. I had to swerve into the gravel on the side of the road and then swerve back on to avoid going over on my side, just making a gap big enough for this idiot to pass through!

is it your privacy settings that are not allowing the video to be shown ?? We bought one from makro it was £20 plus a memory card, amazing quality, ours will record with the ignition off, as long as the battery is charged. it also has a movement sensor so in theory should turn on if it detects movement, which i dont think would work for the purpose but i think they are all about as good as one another, my mu bought a dearer one from Halfrauds, and it has a twin camera, so it will film in front and behind the man told her, useless as of course if you have passengers, it will not work through their heads lol

Equipment used A4 Ricoh printer, HP3085 Heat Press Graphtec cutter, Jarin mug press, CJV 30-60 solvent printer and lots of help from DSF.

It would be interesting to know the make and model. Ive looked on line and the prices range from buttons to 400€.
