Hi All,
I wonder if anyone could help with troubleshooting this machine. I have been using it for some time now without any problems but when I went to use it today, it does not appear to be heating to the temperature which the control panel says it is at. The tray where the mugs go onto is much cooler than what it shoule be, whilst the top part of the machine appears to be at the correct temp. Also when we switch it on and set the temp to the required heat, the machine does not make the noise it normally would when heating up.
Any suggestions or has anyone experienced the same thing ?

Although I have not had that problem with that particular machine I have a feeling it might be your thermostat or possibly a loose wire.
The reason i say this is because I had a similar issue with heating on my larger ST3042 machine. I rewired it (very easy) as it was all very brittle from the heat and I also replaced one of the thermostats and now the machine is working a treat again.
If you feel confident, open the machine up and take a look inside. Fingers crossed it may be a simple loose wire.

I believe bigj2552 had a problem when he first got his machines that may be the same thing at fault. When you heat up the machine you should hear a what sounds like a fan which presumably pushes the heat down into lower part of the unit where the mugs are. bigj2552 got his machines to work correctly in the end so you could try pming him and see if he can give you an idea of what replacement part you need.ivansmagic;104670 wrote: Also when we switch it on and set the temp to the required heat, the machine does not make the noise it normally would when heating up.

Edit: found the thread where he's talking about it here

Re: 3d mini vacuum press
thanks for the replies guys.
I contacted the company we purchased it from and they agreed that as long as we paid to send it back they would repair or replace it for us.
Nice result
