Coreldraw X7
Re: Coreldraw X7
I would be interested, I have both X5 and X7 (and X6 for that matter) on this machine so I can at least compare display colours. Any information is useful regarding colour model and settings.
Re: Coreldraw X7
Amazon selling CorelDRAW Home and Student Suite X7 for £71.04. Any thoughts on the suitability of this? It looks like there are fewer graphics and fonts and I think that the web side of things are removed. To the untrained eye this looks a good deal.
Re: Coreldraw X7
I'm pretty sure in saying that home and student versions do not include VBA (Visual Basic) therefor macros and more important plotter cutting utilities may not work. You should be able to print and export though

Re: Coreldraw X7
Very interesting, thanks for the post. We have X4 student version and it's always worked very well.

Spot on AlanD,
Just been doing some digging and VBA / VSTA support is NOT included.

Re: Coreldraw X7
To be fair you can manage pretty well without VBA if you are just printing but macros can add so much more funtionality
Re: Coreldraw X7
I've started dabbling with Rhinstones so am using The Rhinestone World Stone Wizard. I would not be able to use this add on if I only had the student version.
I beleive the full version also has more printing setup options.

Quite possibly and for those who have never used macros it is worth doing a google search as there are hundreds out there - notably www.macromonster.com or www.oberonplace.com but many more. Some macros are free but even the paid for ones are not expensive and they can add so much more functionality.KathG;104614 wrote:I've started dabbling with Rhinstones so am using The Rhinestone World Stone Wizard. Re: Coreldraw X7
I would onlty buy new as you don't know if the licence has been used before, BUT - why do you need X7 - even versions from 10 years ago are still very powerful, - we uise a hugh host of variants, all very useful.
