Just popped up a review. Given the odds were against the paper as everything was based on settings for trupix, it did well. When I get time I will profile it and go from there.

What method do you use to profile the paper ?

I use a colormunki.

We use a Spyder for ours, and certainly up for doing it, though would need a 44" roll to really test it against the InkTec paper we currently use.

I use an I1 proII or a xrite Isis it measures way more accurately than the colormunki etc , however they may be good enough I also do press matching for LITHO and FLEXO. I really meant which substrates do you use I tend to insist my client send the patches on a hard placemat to simulate mugs etc and a tight weave tshirt for soft materials, ive had a heavy weave and this kills the spectro and you have to use a barbierri (mucho grands).

Profiling mugs is a nightmare you needs loads to get the 918 patches on then reading each patch individually , I had to do that for a rotary can printing press once NEVER AGAIN....

We produce a generic ICC for hard/white/glossy substrates using white aluminium, but do a profile for each different type of fabric we print to, as there is quite a variation from very bright white, tight weave that we use for lampshade production to a more oyster coloured textured weave that we use for some clothing and cushion covers.
