Popped a few sheets in a print run today. I used my ricoh on Sawgrass ink and powerdriver as I guess most people will do something similar, comparison is against Trupix classic. I printed at the same press settings. So in many ways this is unfair on Jetstream, as the profile, temps and timings are all based on trupix paper.
Verdict...
Yellows good (very vibrant), blacks OK (just a very small midge greyer), reds a little pinker.
I'll expand a little.
Every printer is different and my ricoh does a decent yellow, but the JS popped more.
The ricoh does a very deep black and even when I profile my other printers, the blacks can only match not surpass it. The JS black is a definite black even though it is a bit greyer.
Now ricohs often get flack for the deep reds being weak, well mine does a very deep red, if anything it prints on the dark side with reds. The JS was a bit pink in comparison.
This comes down to how fussy you are on colour, and I am very fussy, when I get time to spare I will profile the paper and compare the colours then.
The ink laid down on the mugs was good, not faint or patchy.
Conclusion
It did well.

Janners,
Thanks for a very detailed appraisal.
I'll definitely look forward to your thoughts when you get the time to dial the paper in.
