Re: Lines or banding
If you are using a Ricoh I assume you are using Sawgrass inks as well and the Powerdriver so an ICC is not really required. Is the banding on the paper before you print? What paper are you using?
Many thanks

Re: Lines or banding
sounds more like a head alignment issue or blocked head. so head clean should help.

Re: Lines or banding
I have had issues with banding from my 3110 print out has a fine white line through it across the page and at regular intervals - looks like a blocked head but with the regularity of a transport problem. It is most likely to appear when I have been given a .png file to work on. I have found that sometimes if I go back to the original .png and save it as a tiff I can then reopen it and the problem goes away. On other images I have had to ask the client to supply a tiff or jpeg.
I spent forever trying to figure out what was going on I did the full range of head cleans and printed the test pattern out dozens of times I must have wasted gallons of ink trying to head clean the problem away before I noticed the .png connection .
Hope this may help
Arthur

Re: Lines or banding
Thanks for that yes you are correct about the ink but as far as I can see there is no powerdriver on saw grasses site so not using powerdriver unless I can use the 3110 but I don't know.
again thanks
