Re: Beer Stein Suppliers

Post by Themugbox »

Hi folks.

Does anyone know of a reliable supplier of beer steins? I have been using bestsublimation.de but they have become unreliable. I bought nearly 200 steins from them and out of those a complete box of 18 printed with a blur in the same place and when I complained they asked me to send them back and then told me it was my printing method and would not refund me. I argued that the other 182 had printed correctly but they didn't even reply. My customer then increased his order so I ordered a further 36 and when they arrived 7 were broken. Again I contacted the company and they told me UPS had delivered the package in good order.

It is difficult as their prices are pretty hard to beat but when I factor in the wastage due to breakages during carriage and faulty products it takes a chunk out of my profits.

Any suggestions of alternative suppliers would be much appreciated. I am British but Germany based.

Thanks as always.

to be honest after so many beer stains your blanket could become problematic. and if every one single one came out blurred in same spot then i am almost 100% sure it was your press then steins.

Hi Paul,

I am fairly certain it was the steins which were the issue as off the top of my head it was about the third carton in where all 18 in the carton failed and we carried on and did another six or seven cartons of 18 steins using the same blanket with not one failure.

Yep know that problem, same thing on a set of steins, a batch mid order with problems. I haven't found a supplier of the plain 500ml steins that isn't hassle...hence stopped doing them.
Doesn't help supply wise, but at least backs up the duff steins issue.

We get some from an importer we use but depends on specific styles needed. Any images?
