what do people spray on before heat pressing a sublimation picture

hi guys i have been watching a few different videos on yout**e all about making t shirts with sublimation prints but i have seen a few people spraying on the fabric before placing the picture on the shirt ,what is it they are spraying
next question is i tried a sublimation print on a t shirt (polyester) and it came out lovely very happy with the result but is there a better way to do this as when i line the image up on the shirt by the time i move it to the press the image may have shifted slightly how can i avoid that issue ,it is easy when using vinyl as the sticky backing allows you to position it where you want it and by the time you move it to the heat press it stays nice and still cheers

The spray is a low tac adhesive to stop the paper moving, the alternating is to use heat tape as used to hold the paper on to a mug.

when i line the image up on the shirt by the time i move it to the press the image may have shifted slightly how can i avoid that issue

I place the tshirt on the press, pre heat to remove any moisture then place my print on the garment, cover with teflon and press. When the time is up I lift the press and hey presto.

I second the non permanent adhesive spray some of them are great and the tax is gone from non transfer part of the shirt after pressing but in a pinch heat tape is a goo idea but watch out for creases when moving
