Just received my new graphtec ce6000-40 & sawgrass virtuoso 800.
looking forward to getting them setup!
any tips for these would be welcome. Particularly the cutter as its my 1st

Congrats on your new cutter and printer. I have both these and they are great. I suppose the best tips I van give you is go to You Tube and watch any video you can. Conde have loads of videos on the SawGrass Virtuoso 800 . Stahls have some videos for the cutter and there are a few more from other people as well.
I use CorelDraw X7 to do most of my work and am able to send designs direct to Cutting Master 3 which then sends it to the cutter. I felt a little intimidated at first as the cutter has loads of options /settings( I still don't know what they all mean). It also has presets which are helpful. It cuts small letters perfectly and is quick compared to my Cameo. Not sure if I have offered much help. But I'm sure you will love them both once you get started.
