Stubby holder sub printing, whats the score?

Hi all,

Had an enquiry for the first time, about printing stubby holders. I have sourced some suppliers of the holders , but wanted to know

what the score is with actually producing them. Is there a press similar to a mug press? or is the flat press used?

Please forgive the apparent ignorance / stupidity if I'm asking a daft question.
