As with most things in life suppliers of products/equipment say there are "recommended" products to use. In this case I'm referring to the paper that I got with the printer - TexPrint-R
The possibility of having a top bypass tray and using A3+ paper is very appealing. So is it just a matter of taking a chance and trying this or should I stick what has been recommended.?
I do love a challenge but at this stage don't want to go and wreck my equipment before I start.
Virtuoso SG800 Top Bypass Tray and A3+ paper
Re: Virtuoso SG800 Top Bypass Tray and A3+ paper
Hi, I too have the SG800 and have been getting to grips with it. First impressions for me are great. Print quality is exceptional using the Trupix paper (Sawgrass) which i got with the printer. I've printed both A4 and A3 sizes and have great results. You don't need the bypass tray to print A3. The standard paper tray extends to accommodate the A3 paper.
Re: Virtuoso SG800 Top Bypass Tray and A3+ paper
You do need the Bypass tray if you want to use the A3+ paper. 19"x13" I think is the size.
I've been looking for the SawGrass 800 Bypass here in the UK, but no one seems to have it. Maybe it need to be a special order.
