Hi All

Are Longforte not selling flat heat presses any more. Just been to the site and only a mug press is on there. Anyone have any info please.

I'm in the market for a new press and I've been looking at http://www.printerowners.co.uk/hardware ... -press.htm and also http://www.subliblanks.com/Equipment/su ... Heat-Press.

I just can't decide on which one to get. This would represent a big investment for me, so I need to make the right choice. Has anyone got any comments on either of these please.

Regards

I never had any of them but galaxy is made by DINO. I have lower end of their press, DINO Neptune and i love it. I was looking in to this same press from BMS but i decided against in favour of clam shell 16x20 BK20 heat press. so If I would be on market for new press I would go for galaxy heat press with slide draw ;)

Ive just ordered a Galaxy Heat press DP100 with sliding platen from Subliblanks. They dont have any in stock at the moment, getting a delivery sometime in July. I emailed them and they offered me a 20% discount if I pre ordered which I did. Ive read some reviews and they get a good rating.

When out of stock, Longforte's website doesn't show an item, instead of saying it's out of stock

Thanks for the comments, I'm still undecided. I've watched Paul's review and another on the same make but bigger. I'm wondering if the extra money on the Galaxy is because it's got nice colours and looks funkier. I'm not in a rush, so will do a bit more reading around

gallaxy is a nice piece of kit and heat element is much better then in its smaller brother, neptune.
If lifetime warranty on heat element didn't convince you then i am not sure what will ;)
