Ink won't come through!

Yes he has. Although I think he only printed a colour test shee on photo paper settings. Now printer isn't working at all!!! Showing that two carts are empty, when they aren't, and it simply won't try to print.

I will get him to syringe from the bottom again to start the ink coming through again. Once he's done that I'll try a full colour photo again.

The sub ink purchased was a 4 pack premium quality SubliNova InkTec.

Have you taken the cartridges out and then put them back in? This tricks printer in to thinking they are new 'full' cartridges.

I have the same printer and it has resisted all attempts to work! The same problems as you.

I have tried all the steps you have and have spent hours messing around with this piece of c***p. For back-up I have bought an old Brother (MFC-240C) and it works like a dream with sub ink but is very slow. So have now bought another Brother (special offer from Viking clearance).

Re the Epson, this is the second one!! The first went back for refund (after flushing) I would never touch Epson again.

I fully understand your frustration and hope you get sorted.

OK, so reading elsewhere we do NOT have to clean the machine out after changing cartridges with different ink! Apparently when you change cartridges it automatically detects and does a head clean and ink charge.

So, we put the first lot of cartridges with the dye ink back in. These worked perfectly before - but now they don't! ARGH!

Thanks Ray. Unfortunately we can't afford to purchase yet another printer.

At a total loss what to do now. Anybody want heat presses and products?

Remove the 2 carts showing empty get a paper clip straighten it then bend to a u shape then put it across the 2 round connections above the chip it will reset the carts to full,if it doesn't work just repeat as it may take several attempts

logos unlimited. No As yet we haven't purchased yet another set of carts, but looks like we're going to have to try that.
