what can you recommend
Re: what can you recommend
I brought a Swing Head Manual Press - 38cms x 50cms from Magic Touch, what I need is a press stand. the stand needs to be 80cm 70cm, my mind gone blank can't think what other information to give.
Re: what can you recommend
Good choice on the press.
4" x 2" noggins from B&Q and some 10mm coach bolts from Toolstation assuming you have a saw. If you want it mobile then also get some wheels from Toolstation.

Thanks but I had to look and see what noggins are, I can't build Lego so I looking to buy ready made, but thanks for the idea.

Re: what can you recommend
I still think there's a market for someone to make stands for these heat presses. A few are available but not cheap.
Re: what can you recommend
Arfmo, your in the joinery business now! Stuff the printing make the stands!

Need to do something while the BN-20 is printing and cutting.
Trouble with the benches is that the postage is more than the materials and I'd have to send flat packed and jennywren probably wouldn't be able to assemble it.

Re: what can you recommend
Could you recommend maybe something in the tool department (trolleys) that would be suitable. maybe you could nip in and make one for me
Re: what can you recommend
Depends where you are
Most of the items in the tool shops would not be comfortable with the weight of a descent press, mine is 90Kg = 200Lbs

Re: what can you recommend
Arfer, you bragging about your bench presses
maybe back in the day eh. Weight is an issue for them though as is stability. Try googling heavy duty trolley perhaps but could cost more than the press. It's a subject I'm interested in too as we need ours mobilised rerally because space is at a premium and multiuse, like to pull it out, use then put away after. Maybe something like a metal cabinet on wheels with storage underneath, perhaps modify a used low filing cabinet to have wheels.

Re: what can you recommend
I'm having a shop revamp and that's I need a trolley with wheels so I can move it, one side of the shop waste so much space with little in it so I need to get the trolley, that way it will give me a bit of time to think before I make bad decisions on how the shop will look
