Re: Looking for a little advice

Hi everyone

Most all sublimation t-shirts come with advice on temperature time and pressure settings, but i cannot find anything for sports shirts.
We have a possible order for some Anniversary sports t-shirts plus other items like mug coasters and keyrings for a running club. One of the problems we are having on our test tee is preventing the marks from the paper. We have done all the suggested tricks but nothing is being 100% successful.

The other bigger problem is the texture of the t-shirt is being changed by the heat from the heat press. The shirts we are looking to use are Spiro and Steadman performance tees. Im beginning to think it might be better to use HTV as the CadCut Premium Plus only takes 8 seconds with the press.
Just a little more work with cutting out.

If anyone has any advice on overcoming the problems I've mentioned it will be gratefully recieved.

Cheers

you need very little pressure to sub, - and if you tear out the design to soften the paper edge and stop it being straight it is less obvious........

Thanks Logobear, I have already tried that and we do use that method with standard sublimation t-shirts. It is the sports tees that is giving us a headache. Though last night we did have some luck using the foam larger than the design and keeping the paper larger than the foam, and letting up on the pressure somewhat.
