must be a newer model ... none of ours have those control units for time ... have you tried googling for gefran 550?

l have managed to download a Gefran 550 manual via Google, but it's not what you would call, user friendly. Seems to be aimed at elec mechanical engineers. I was hoping someone on here might have some sort of simple guide.

Hi Pete,
Slightly different to mine but looks similar I would say the switch on the right will light up when you switch the press on you would then press the up or down key to the temp you want and press set (Thats how mine works anyway)

The switch on the left looks completely different from mine but i would think it does the same job as mine i think this is the timer and again i would think you have to set it to whatever time you want and the machine will buzz when it counts down to zero on my machine this does not light up until you have closed the press then it starts counting down

could be wrong though

All sorted ! - The timer is programmable and have managed to reprogram it so it's working perfectly now.
