Seems that the issue is with Cyan ... but im not sure how im going to fix it ..

See these 2 pictures side by side .. black is fine, cyan has the bandings at the same point as the full colour print ...

Though it is fainter, but you can still see the lines on numbers 1 and 3..

So i guess until i get a full nozzle check on cyan i'm still gonna have this problem ..

Not sure what else I can do in trying to "clean the printhead" though ?

And if the nozzle check was to blame .. why am i only getting the problems at the front and end of the prints ? Why not anywhere else ?

What paper are you using? Is that line always in the same place on the paper? (Sorry if that's already been answered) Reason for asking, I had a batch of faulty paper that displayed a very similar result.

Does the same with sublimation paper and normal copier paper unfortunately :(

Thanks.

I appear to have found the issue - I was printing borderless as i wanted to use them for A4 jigsaws so I had a slight bleed ...

Unticked borderless and prints appear to be coming out fine now - what a pain that was !

Anyone any advice on best lining the jigsaws up so there is no white showing ? :) I liked the idea of printing full page so I could have a bit of bleed ... but printing with a border i do not get that bleed anymore ...

Thanks.

It's gonna be very difficult to print anything accurately without a bit of bleed. This is the reason we upgraded to A3. We always printed the wooden jigsaws A4 though, and they are small enough to get bleed on an A4 page. Are the jigsaws your printing actually A4 in size?

They are slighly smaller than an A4 ... So when you print with a border there is literally .2 mm of white space showing once sublimated ..

For now, I will have to live with it, at least I have got to the bottom of the lines !

Cheers.

I always try to print with 2mm bleed where possible, as it allows room for my mistakes!! Yes we often found when we just had A4, that we needed to print a little larger. Now that we have A3, we still find the same thing!!
