So if had any thing to add to the disscusion I would do it like so.yes thats how i think it would work, BUT and its a big but, there will be some who disagree with some things, ie to dunk or not to dunk, but as long as it includes all methods, ie, some people prefer to air dry on a rack, some without a rack, and some using lukewarm water

can you see this working ??

I can't see allowing anyone to update faq's being workable, too many opinions and too many folk getting offended when we correct them

well we certainly need something, I agree with that Quinsfan, also perhaps a simple look up directory -
ICC profile, what is it and why do i need it
colours not right - what could be wrong
image fades towards bottom of mug
etc
etc

of course one of the simplest answers, although it comes over a bit rude, is to reply simply with links to all the other replies people have taken the time to make to the same question, and which the new poster, has simply not read through

I agree, something would be useful. I've enable the similar threads function and will make all new members aware of this. I will look into the sticky faq's as this will also be useful.

This thread has just been started. Would your new "similar threads system" have picked this up? Has the poster just ignored it? I know we all started somewhere, god knows I have posted some simple questions, and I am not knocking the newbies. I just want to help us to help them.

If you scroll to the bottom of the thread you'll see the 'similar threads' section. I can see how OP may not see these clearly though, I'll look into that.

OK, I'm moved the similar threads section to above the thread. it doesn't kick in until the thread is posted but is then quite clearly shown, certainly an improvement for the time being?
